A Carbon County teen was caught breaking into a county residence when he was spotted by a relative of the victim.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the residence of Marguy Lazard, 49, Stony Mountain Road, in Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, at 12:50 p.m. on May 26.A 17-year-old male from Albrightsville was spotted in the residence by the victim's mother. Entry was gained through a downstairs door. Once inside, the teen went to a bedroom in the home and removed a Microsoft Surface, Air Jordan sneakers, PlayStation 4, four PlayStation video games and a black PlayStation controller, all valued at $1,440.Troopers said the teen has repayed the victim in full.
