A Pine Grove woman was hurt in a crash Friday afternoon in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, according to state police in Schuylkill Haven.

Police said Tanya L. Zerbe, 36, was traveling east on Sweet Arrow Road when she lost control and struck a utility pole just west of Route 183.Zerbe was taken to the hospital, but the severity of her injuries was not known. An 8-year-old child who was in the car had a minor injury.Assisting at the scene was Liberty Fire Company, Cressona Fire Company No. 1, Rainbow Hose Fire Company, Schuylkill Haven Fire Police and Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven EMS.
