June 11, 1980 Tamaqua rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 3-2 Schuylkill Legion win over Pine Grove. Dave Ambrose walks to start the rally and scores on Steve Comisac's triple. After a walk to Mark Seigrath, a dropped fly ball brings in Comisac with the tying run. Kenny Franz delivers the game-winner one batter later when his sacrifice fly to left chases home Seigrath. Mark Rother earns the pitching win in relief.
