DUICriminal charges were filed against Jonathan Schuster, 31, of 919 W. Edgemont Ave, Palmerton, for DUI, careless driving, reckless driving and prohibiting text-based communications. The incident occurred at 11:29 p.m. April 15 at Lafayette Avenue and Church Street.Traffic violationCriminal charges were filed against David Christman, 27, of 1039 Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, for accidents involving death or personal injury, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, reckless driving and careless driving. The incident occurred at 12:28 p.m. May 6 in the 1000 block of Mauch Chunk Road.A citation was issued to a 17-year-old Palmerton male for careless driving. The violation occurred at 5:51 p.m. May 30 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.Richard Wagner II 50, of 603 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, was cited for stop signs and yield signs. The violation occurred at 5:50 p.m. May 30 at Lehigh Avenue and Third Street.A citation was issued to Holly Faust, 31, of 5499 Schochary Road, New Tripoli, for obedience to traffic control device. The violation occurred at 9:40 p.m. May 31 at Hillside and Princeton avenues.A citation was issued to Dennis Yeung, 26, of 305 Rustin Way, Wexford, for traffic control signals. The violation occurred at 5 p.m. May 31 at Delaware Avenue and Fifth Street.Public drunkennessStephen Susel, 46, of 819 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, was cited for public drunkenness. The violation occurred at 3:45 p.m. June 1 in the 800 block of Columbia Avenue.
