Traffic stop leads to drug charges

A traffic stop in Carbon County led to the arrest of a passenger in the vehicle on drug counts.

State police at Lehighton said a vehicle was stopped at 9:09 p.m. on May 27 along Route 895 near Smith Lane in East Penn Township for a traffic violation.At the stop a passenger, identified as Joshua Crable, 27, of Tamaqua, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charges will be filed, troopers said.
