A Palmerton woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Tamaqua on Sunday morning.

Meghan Milkovits, who is reportedly six months pregnant, was driving south on Center Street at 8:30 a.m., when she attempted to make a left turn onto Cedar Street, turning in front of a northbound Dodge Dakota operated by Gregory Palmer of Allentown.The Dodge struck the front passenger side door of Milkovits' Volkswagen Jetta. She was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by ambulance.Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
