Rush Township Police made several traffic stops during the Memorial Day weekend, resulting in charges being filed against several people.
Jennifer DiPietro, 31, of Tamaqua, was a passenger in a car that was stopped on Claremont Avenue at 11:06 a.m. on May 24. Officers determined there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest, issued by the Schuylkill County Adult Probation Office, and immediately took her into custody.During a routine search, officers found glass pipes in her possession, charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia.Dana McFadden, 22, of Summit Hill, will also face a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, stemming from a traffic stop at 12:56 a.m. on May 24. McFadden, a passenger in the stopped vehicle, was in possession of a needle and several wax baggies.
