A Schuylkill County man is the victim of identity theft.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said unknown criminals obtained the checking account information of David Smith II, 39, of 97 Front St., Cressona, and proceeded to make a purchase at Toys R Us online for a total of $85.99.The purchase was made on May 25.
