State police at Lehighton reported charging Pamela Q. Whitaker, 67, of Haddon, New Jersey, with false alarms.

Troopers said they had to respond to four false alarms at 585 Preachers Camp Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, owned by the defendant, during a 12-month period.
