The 2014 Tamaqua Summer Basketball League, sponsored by the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC), will tip-off its season on Wednesday, June 4, at the North and Middle Ward Playground in Tamaqua.

This year's league consists of nine teams and over 90 players. All games will be played on Monday and Wednesday evenings during the months of June and July and will be held at the North and Middle Ward Playground and East End Playground in Tamaqua. There will be three games played per night beginning at 6 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the games will be moved indoors to a Tamaqua Area School District gymnasium.The league playoffs will begin on July 16, with the Championship Game scheduled for Wednesday, July 23.
