Members of the Carbon County Tourist Promotion Agency as well as the executive committee of the Western Poconos Vacation Bureau took tours of St. Mark's Church and Asa Packer Mansion.

They predict a successful tourist business for the area in the future and were in awe at the beauty of the church and the museum.The group reported hearing plans by a New York firm, Ondine Productions Inc., to make a movie using the mansion as the setting. A group of about 25 people are expected to arrive sometime during June and July to begin filming.
