Nesquehoning police reported the owner of a vehicle and a juvenile were both cited following a crash in which extensive damages were reported.

Officer Timothy Wuttke responded to an accident at the Lake Hauto Club, where a driver hit a newly installed gate system. Damages were estimated at $4,871.20, police said.As a result of an investigation, Wuttke identified the driver through surveillance cameras. Linda Tout, of 8 Tippets Road, was charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property, and permitting an unauthorized person to drive. A juvenile was charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property and no driver's license.
