A Monroe County man is facing charges following a theft of vehicle incident.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on May 19 at 12:14 p.m. officers received a report from Venezia Truck, 14 Harvest Lane, Pocono Summit, that a 1990 Mazda pickup was stolen from the parking lot at the business. Later the same day, at 7:40 p.m., the truck was located abandoned at the intersection of Tamarack Trail and Laurel Drive, in Stillwater Lakes Estates.A further investigation revealed a retail theft incident on the night of the vehicle theft occurred at the Walmart store in Mount Pocono. During the theft two males left on foot and were later identified.On May 21 police made contact with Anthony Camporini, 21, of Pocono Summit. He was found to have a key for the stolen truck in his possession.Camporini has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. At the time of his arrest he had a glass marijuana pipe in his possession.Police said the investigation is continuing.
