Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church will again host a GriefShare program designed to assist those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The course is Biblically based, but non-denominational.Meetings will begin on June 10 and will then be held Tuesdays, at 10 a.m., for the next 13 weeks. Meetings will be held in the church conference room, at 223 E. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will observe Ascension Thursday, a holy day of obligation on May 29. Masses will be said at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. on Thursday.Graduation Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. on June 1. Graduates are reminded to meet in the social hall before Mass. Coffee and doughnuts will be served after Mass.June 1 is also rosary Sunday. Members of the parish Holy Rosary Society will recite the rosary before Mass and receive Holy Communion as a group.Adult day care centerThe Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center, 300 W.
