A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a traffic stop for speeding.

State police at Frackville said Wendy Lynn Haluska, 40, of Pottsville, was stopped at 9:26 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, along Route 61 southbound on West Mahanoy Township for speeding.At the stop troopers found her to be under the influence of alcohol and transported her to the Schuylkill Medical Center -S. Jackson Street in Pottsville, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
