A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident in Nesquehoning.
On Feb. 26 Officers Brian White and Robert Blisard were dispatched to 90 E. Catawissa St. for a report of suspicious people. On scene the officers observed four men standing by the side door of the building. As the officers approached two ran inside the building and the other two began to walk away but were stopped by White.One of the men identified himself as Daniel Wise. Wise was intoxicated and was issued a citation for public drunkenness.On April 29 at the office of District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, Lansford, Daniel Wise appeared but was not the man White had arrested previously. Daniel Wise told the officer his brother, Thomas Wise, 27, of 2870 Allegheny Drive, Blakeslee, had used his information when arrested.White filed additional charges against Thomas Wise including false report to incriminate another, and false identification to law enforcement.
