Szulborksi collects three hits, one a solo homer in the fifth inning, and knocks in a pair as the No. 15 seed in the tournamet takes a five-run advantage. Walling, who blanks the second-seeded Spartand for five frames, allows four runs over the final two innings but eventually closes the door. Walling, who also drives in a run on offense, finishes with nine strikeouts.
