DUI arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence arrests.

At 8:45 p.m. on May 15, John Goritsky, 23, of Kunkletown, was stopped along Route 209 at Mill Pond Road, in Polk Township, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and was transported to the county DUI center for a blood test.Troopers said charges will be filed.At 7:10 p.m. on May 20, Carl L. Miller, 60, of 1360 Third St., Palmerton, was stopped while traveling northbound on Delaware Avenue in Palmerton for driving under suspension-DUI related. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Charges are pending, troopers said.
