Mahoning Township Police have charged a Slatington man with an attempted assault at Walmart.

On Wednesday, police saidan ex-employee identified as Anthony Munoz entered the store with a baseball bat, attempting to attack former co-workers.

Munoz has been charged with criminal attempt-simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 18.
