Installationof officersNesquehoning Memorial VFW Post 8008 and its ladies auxiliary will hold joint Installation of Officers at 7 p.m. Friday.All officers should be present.Auxiliary members are requested to bring a dessert item.Summit HillFood pantryFood distribution dates for the Summit Hill Food Pantry will be Tuesdays, May 27, June 24, July 22, Aug. 26, Sept. 23, Oct. 28 and Mondays, Nov. 24 and Dec. 22.Distribution will take place between 10-11:30 a.m.The food pantry is located in the Summit Hill Heritage Center on Hazard and Chestnut streets.There is to be no parking in the alley before 9:45 a.m. and absolutely no parking in the vacant lot.Recipients are reminded to bring along extra strong shopping/tote bags.
