A Monroe County man is the victim of identity theft.

State police at Fern Ridge said unknown criminals obtained the driver's license information of Matthew David Birnbaum, 39, of Ash Lane in Saylorsburg, to open multiple credit card accounts and then made multiple purchases from numerous companies.
