Steidle tosses all seven innings, walking just one while striking out 10. Eck collects a pair of hits and also scores two runs. The winners, coached by Larry Morris, also receive two hits and a run from Don Sheehan while Fritzie Watto and John "Doley" Smith both chip in with a hot and two runs scored.
