A theft from a motor vehicle is being investigated by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks.

The incident happened between 9 p.m. May 15 and 7 a.m. May 17. The victim is Richard Gelbutis Jr., 46, of Pottsville.Police said the victim had his truck parked at 1456 Route 61, North Manheim Township, when someone damaged the passenger's side door lock to gain access to it. The thief fled the scene with a GPS unit and about 75-100 gallons of diesel fuel.
