State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating an institutional vandalism incident that happened between 7 p.m. May 14 and 1:30 p.m. May 17 at the Cressona Cemetery on Ash Street in Cressona.

Police said someone entered the cemetery in a four-wheel drive vehicle from the west side of the property and drove it in the grass in the northwest corner of the cemetery. The person drove in multiple circles, damaging the grass and survey markers, before leaving the scene in an unknown direction.
