A Monroe County man is facing several charges following an incident at an apartment complex in Chestnuthill Township.
State police at Fern Ridge said troopers responded to 126 Arlene Drive at 4:04 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, for a report of an assault.On scene troopers were told by Claudia Drumgo, 50, of Neola, who is a staff member for NHS Human Services of Stroudsburg, that she was inside Apt. 2, getting ready to dispense patients' medicine when Eumir Jazputin Aaron, 30, of Stroudsburg, entered the apartment. He started to punch Drumgo in the face, striking her four times in the mouth and nose area causing bruising and swelling.Carmen Diacheysn, 45, of Effort, was in the apartment and tried to stop Aaron. Aaron tackled Diacheysn to the ground and stabbed Diacheysn in the back with a fork. While on the ground Aaron hit Diacheysn over the head with a glass Pyrex measuring cup. Diacheysn suffered a bruise to his back where he was stabbed with the fork and suffered swelling to his head where he was hit with a glass cup.Brian Uberti, 25, of Effort, ran from the apartment and went into Apt. 1 followed by Aaron. Inside that apartment Aaron stabbed Uberti with a pen in the arm and the stomach. Uberti suffered scratches from being stabbed with the pen.All three victims were treated at the scene by West End ambulance personnel.Aaron was located at 6013 Route 209, Hamilton Township, and arrested without incident. He was charged with aggravated and simple assault, burglary, criminal trespass and harassment. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment, troopers said.
