Woman facing charges in Monroe

A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of driving under the influence and operating her vehicle with two young children in the car.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to a reported one-vehicle crash about 11:45 p.m. on May 3 along Long Pond Road near Richard Drive. On scene officers found a Jeep off the road with no one around it.The owner of the vehicle was identified as Courtney Quick, 23, of Long Pond. The investigation revealed Quick was driving the vehicle when it crashed. She was found at her residence and showed signs of intoxication.She was placed under arrest and taken to the county DUI center for a blood test. Police noted she was uncooperative and resisted arrest. Police also learned that Quick had two small children in the Jeep with her at the time of the crash.Quick is facing charges of DUI, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, and related traffic offenses.
