A Monroe County woman was jailed over the weekend following a stabbing incident.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers were called to 531 Effort Neola Road, Saylorsburg, in Jackson Township, at 12:58 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, for a report of a stabbing.On scene troopers learned that Ryan Pasanen, 37, of Saylorsburg, sustained a laceration on his right forearm and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.Troopers said Christina Pasanen, 34, of Saylorsburg, was arrested for the incident and charged her with aggravated and simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.She was arraigned before a district judge and committed to the county prison in Snydersville in lieu of $20,000 bail.
