Community dinner

St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Race Street will hold this month's community dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. This month will be a picnic-style dinner. For more information call the church at 570-325-2241.Bible study groupThe Women's Ecumenical Bible study group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Good Shepherd Room of St. John's Lutheran Church on South Avenue. Joan DeAcetis will be the leader and the group is studying the Gospel of Mark. All women of the community, regardless of their churches, are invited to attend.
