A vehicle previously reported stolen in Northampton County was found ablaze in Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred about 11 p.m. on Friday along Covered Bridge Road in Lower Towamensing Township.Troopers responded to the area along with Aquashicola Fire Company volunteers for a report of a vehicle fire. On scene a 1985 Pontiac Fiero was found just off the road, fully engulfed in flames.It was later learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen by its owner, a 35-year-old female from Freemansburg, while in Bethlehem.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
