State police at Frackville reported on two crashes probed by troopers in Schuylkill County.

A one-vehicle crash was reported at 10:20 p.m. on Sunday along the Burma Road in Blythe Township.Troopers said Christine R. Swartz, 33, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2001 Ford Focus northbound when she struck a deer that was crossing in front of her.Swartz and a 14-year-old female passenger were not injured. A 4-year-old male passenger sustained a moderate injury and was taken to a Pottsville area hospital.Damages were minor to the car. Troopers cited Swartz for restraint systems.A one-vehicle crash occurred at 12:32 a.m. on Sunday along Route 895 (Summer Valley Road), in East Brunswick Township.Paul Stitzel, 81, of Hamburg, was driving a 2006 Ford F150 pickup westbound when he lost control while negotiating a right-hand curve. The truck went onto the north berm and struck a tree, where it came to rest.Stitzel was not injured. He was cited in the incident.New Ringgold Fire Company and ambulance corps volunteers assisted at the scene.
