Gun, dirt bike, lawn mower stolen in Monroe break-ins

State police at Lehighton this week reported investigating burglaries and theft incidents.

Troopers are investigating the theft of a gun from the home of Harvey Justice, 64, of 124 Sam Smith Road, Kresgeville. A black with brown grips Taurus 9 mm handgun with the rear sight pin missing was taken. The serial number is L58797. The incident occurred sometime between March 1 and April 16.A yellow 2004 Suzuki DRZ 125 CC dirt bike was taken from a shed on the property at 1110 Willow Creek Drive, in Polk Township. The incident occurred sometime between May 4 and 6.William Hampton, 40, of 731 Center Rd., Effort, Polk Township, reported his unlocked vehicle was entered while parked at his residence and change was taken. The incident was reported on May 4 at 9:32 a.m.Peter Anthony Nicoletti, 55, of 167 Sterling Valley Rd., in Polk Township, reported a Mark lawn mower and a Minn Kota trolling motor were removed from his property sometime between Feb. 14 and April 29.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call police at 610-377-4270.
