A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:26 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, along Phinneyville Road, in East Union Township.

State police at Frackville said Mark Mensinger, 31, of Sheppton, was driving a 1994 Jeep Cherokee westbound when the vehicle left the road and struck an embankment along the north berm. Then the Jeep crossed both lanes of travel and struck the guard rail on the south berm where it came to rest.Mensinger was not injured but the Jeep had to be towed from the scene. Mensinger was cited in the incident.
