A Tamaqua man has been cited following a domestic incident in the borough on April 26.

Police were dispatched to 230 Green St., at 9 p.m. for a domestic incident. On scene they spoke with Jesse Farber Rex, 28, who was outside the apartment. He admitted fighting with a woman inside the apartment and had left, but came back for a jacket.Officers spoke with the victim, who said Farber Rex had been drinking alcohol earlier in the day, around 4 p.m. They argued and he punched her in the nose, several times, then hit her head off a metal pipe. When he came back for his jacket, he became involved in a confrontation with the victim's mother.He was cited for simple assault and harassment.
