A Monroe County teen is facing a theft charge.
State police at Lehighton said a 16-year-old male from Kunkletown bought an Apple iPhone from a 15-year-old male from Kunkletown, both of Eldred Township. The 15-year-old told the victim that the phone could be activated for cell service. When the victim tried to activate the phone he learned it had been stolen.The 15-year-old will have the charge filed by the county's juvenile probation office, troopers said. The incident was reported on April 28.
