The ramp from the Mahoning Valley Toll Plaza (exit 74) to Route 209 northbound closed for several hours today to allow placement of concrete for temporary shoring for bridge construction.

A message board has been activated to direct motorists to "Keep left for Rt. 209 northbound." A flagger is also stationed in the area.Motorists should be on the lookout for single-lane traffic through Thursday in the northbound lanes of the turnpike from Mahoning Valley to Pocono interchange. The right lane will be closed for slope remediation.Reduced speeds are in effect, with slow moving or stopped traffic until 3 p.m. Thursday.
