State Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon), in conjunction with the Carbon County commissioners will hold a free public and private grant writing seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Carbon County Communication Center, 1264 Emergency Lane in Nesquehoning.

The seminar will introduce the basics, as well as the complexities of the grant application and submission process. Those who attend the event will also learn how to research and find private and government funding sources they are eligible for through a variety of websites and online tools.Registration is required.
