Three businesses cited by state liquor control board

Three Schuylkill County businesses have been cited by the Bethlehem enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violation of the liquor code.

The Village Inn, 101 W. Center St., Mahanoy City, was cited for contaminated liquor. The violation occurred on Jan. 10.Wes Paul LLC, trading as Longboards, 204-206 Peacock St., Pottsville, was cited for sales to a minor. The violation occurred on Feb. 27.Manheim Diner Inc., 1614 Route 61, North Manheim Township, was cited for sales to a minor. The violation occurred on Feb. 27.These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
