May 3, 1966 Jim DeAngelo and Bill Sakusky lead a potent offensive attack as Marian rolls to a 17-2 Anthracite Catholic League win over Nativity. DeAngelo collects three hits, knocks in five runs and scores two times while Sakusky ends with three hits and three runs scored. The winners, coached by Hugh "Wink" Gallagher, also receive two hits and three runs from both Dennis Boyle and Mike Baddick. Marian's Jerry Fulmer also contributes by hitting a single and a two-run homer.
