A Monroe County driver was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:39 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, along Weir Mountain Road in Polk Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Ryan A. Cotte, 17, of Kunkletown, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve which caused him to lose control.The car left the road and traveled up an embankment and overturned onto its roof.Cotte was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance for evaluation, troopers said.
