Brian A. Hock, 31 of 8 Oak Ave., Carbondale, is facing criminal trespass charges after he allegedly broke into a car wash coin machine.

Walnutport police arrested Hock shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday, April 24, as he was walking east on Route 248.Police said Hock matched the description of a suspect seen around midnight near the coin machine at the Walnutport Car Wash, 501 S. Best Ave.Police said the person matching Hock's description fled the scene when a patrol vehicle approached the car wash and officers discovered the coin machine had recently been broken into. Hock admitted to police that he broke into the coin machine.Hock was arraigned by District Judge Robert Hawke Thursday on charges of criminal attempt, defiant trespass, criminal mischief, loitering and prowling at night. He was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
