A Schuylkill County man is facing charges in connection with the theft of pills.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said John Miller, 47, of Port Carbon, entered the bedroom of Pedro Quinonez, 43, of 19 Pike St., Port Carbon, on Friday, April 25, between noon and 3 p.m., and removed a pill bottle containing 56 5-milligram diazepam (generic Valium) pills that were prescribed for Quinonez, and left. Miller was later located in Pottsville and was in possession of the stolen drugs.Troopers charged Miller with theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
