Officials and employees of the Carbon County Court House were paid today on the county commissioners securing a loan of $25,000 from the First National Bank of Lansford.

It is the first installment of a loan of $125,000 to be received from county banks.The county treasury has been depleted for several months with the result that bills were paid only as current receipts were received.
