Darlen Ganong, 57, of New Tripoli, has been cited by state police at the Fogelsville barracks for nonconfinement of a dog.

Police said the citation was filed after police responded to an incident at 7:45 p.m. April 24 at 8311 Carpet Road, Weisenberg Township.Police said Ganong is the owner of a dog which was allowed to leave the premises and then came in contact with the victim, Henry Nibbel, 51, of New Tripoli, on numerous occasions.
