A Monroe County woman was charged with retail theft following an incident at a county business.

State police at Fern Ridge allege that Carmen Clavell, 64, of East Stroudsburg, removed $80 worth of groceries from Kinsley's ShopRite, in Chestnuthill Township, about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, without paying for them.Troopers noted Clavell has four prior retail theft convictions which makes the latest arrest a felony offense.
