State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County home that is currently in foreclosure.

Troopers said the entry occurred at the residence at 1156 Green Mount Drive, in Saylorsburg. The break-in was discovered on April 16 as the realtor for Federal National Mortgage Association, owner of the property, was showing a prospective buyer through the premises when it was discovered copper piping and appliances, including a sink and stove, had been removed from the home.The incident occurred sometime between April 13 and when the discovery was made.
