State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence arrests.

On April 12 about 1 a.m. Nichole L. Tallada, 23, of Saylorsburg, was stopped for a traffic violation along Old Route 115 in the area of Lake Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. She was found to be under the influence and was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results.On Monday, April 21, at 11:03 p.m. Michael Edward Burkert Jr., 19, of Palmerton, was stopped along Fireline Road at Golf Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.
