A Monroe County resident fell victim to a phone scam, state police at Fern Ridge reported.

Troopers said David Trimmer, 60, of 117 Blueberry Road, Jackson Township, was scammed out of $310 by a fraudulent company that promised he won $3 million. The incident was reported on April 11.
