State police investigate Schuylkill County crashes

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes probed by troopers on Schuylkill County roads.

A two-vehicle crash occurred about 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Route 61 and Carbon Arch Road in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Lynsey N. Wagner, 21, of Cressona, was southbound on 61 in a 1999 Ford Escort in the left passing lane while Denise M. Mack-Kufro, 42, of Frackville, was stopped in a 2011 Nissan Rouge for a red light.Wagner failed to see the stopped vehicle and the front of her Escort hit the rear of the Rouge.Wagner, Mack-Kufro, and her 12-year-old female passenger from Frackville were not injured.Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Troopers cited Wagner for careless driving.A hit-and-run accident was reported on Saturday about 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Redner's Warehouse Market, located off Route 61 in North Manheim Township near Schuylkill Haven. A 2014 Subaru Outback was parked in the lot and unattended when it was struck in the back end by a vehicle which was backing out of another parking space. After impact the driver fled the scene.A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6:08 p.m. on April 17 in the parking lot of King's Village shopping center off Route 901 in Norwegian Township. Jessica L. Sock, 30, of Cressona, was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla through the lot and attempting to make a left turn up one of the parking aisles when the glare of the sun blinded her and her vehicle struck a white barrel that was covering an old light post.Sock was not injured.
