A Monroe County man has been charged with indirect criminal contempt for violating a protection from abuse order.

State police at Fern Ridge said Patrick W. Szarzynski, 24, of Effort, entered Kinsley ShopRite store, located at 107 Kinsley Drive in Chestnuthill Township, on March 23 about 11:48 a.m.Szarzynski is not permitted to be in the store, troopers said, because a 21-year-old female employee has a PFA order against him, which prohibits him from entering her place of employment.
