Two Monroe County residents have been charged with making false reports to law enforcement.

State police at Lehighton said Dylan Michael Frantz, 20, and Matthew Allen Green, 42, both of Effort, were charged following an incident that occurred in the area of 341 Green Hill Road in Polk Township, about 7:05 a.m. on April 9.Troopers said the two were interviewed concerning a reportable crash. Troopers allege both gave statements containing false information.
